Recently, Mr. He Zexu, an overseas Chinese entrepreneur in the United States and chairman of Huichenpu Capital, visited the Chinese American and Overseas Chinese Federation and made a special donation of US$120,000. The donation will be used to care for and support overseas Chinese compatriots who are facing practical difficulties in life, bringing them warmth and assistance from the broader overseas Chinese community.

This special donation reflects Chairman He Zexu's deep concern for overseas Chinese communities. It also demonstrates the sense of responsibility among overseas Chinese business leaders in actively fulfilling social responsibility and participating in public welfare and charitable work. The funds will focus on daily-life assistance, emergency support and related community-care programs for compatriots in difficulty, helping more people under pressure regain confidence and get through hard times.

For a long time, overseas Chinese communities have worked hard in foreign countries and made positive contributions to local development as well as exchange and cooperation between China and the world. Some compatriots, however, may face real pressure because of illness, unemployment, sudden family changes or other difficulties. This donation is a practical expression of mutual support and shared responsibility within the overseas Chinese community.

Chairman He Zexu said charitable work requires broader participation. Caring for overseas Chinese compatriots in difficulty is not only an act of kindness, but also a responsibility. He hopes the donation will encourage more overseas Chinese business leaders, entrepreneurs and caring members of society to pay attention to vulnerable compatriots overseas, bring together community strength and promote the continued development of public welfare and charity.
